My Independent Contractor.com is an Internet Website built specifically for Independent Contractors. Independent Contractors can build their own unique Websites for "FREE" and receive a "FREE" Website address using a very easy to follow Website template so Homeowners and others can "SEE" what they can do!
Homeowners and others simply want to look at a variety of Contractors to see whom they might like to hire for any specific project without having to key in any of their personal information. My Independent Contractor allows Freedom for both the Homeowner's and the Contractor's in that Contractors can easily build and edit their own Websites and Homeowners can view these websites without having to key in any personal information.
Official launch date for MyIndependentContractor.com was February 1, 2010.
I Created MyIC.com after having a Tile Contractor do some work on our master bathroom. I had just left another company and was not sure what to do next, so my wife and decided to remodel our bathroom. During the remodel, I was very impressed with the work the contractor was doing. He was very conscientious about his work and making sure other parts of the house were kept clean. I loved the tile job that he did and so I decided to talk to him to find out how he was promoting himself to get more work. After learning he had no idea about how to get a website nor the money to have one built. I promised him that I would find a contractor website where contractors can put up some pictures to showcase their individual work.
After searching, I was unable to find a simple, easy-to-, Internet website where contractors can create and have their own "individual" websites and also be part of a search Directory. So as of May 2008, I assembled a team of professionals that I have worked with for many years and we built MyIndependentContractor.com, or MyIC.com.
Because MyIndependentContractor.com has grown quickly since its inception and now showcases hundreds of independent contractors, general contractors and handymen, we are now helping homeowners select and connect with the contractor service providers they need, from the comfort of their own homes.
