Our first step is to make a plan.  Doing some research ahead of time really expedites the process. Take a little time to plan out colors, themes, and artistic ideas. We can also help you out with many possibilities. Look at our galleries to help you start off in the right direction. Your decisions will be permanent, so really think it out carefully. Think of your concrete as a blank canvas…and you get to be Picasso.

SURFACE PREPARATION: The cleaning method depends on how soiled the surface is. At the minimum, the surface will be cleaned with soap and water. Commonly, acid etching and power washing is done.

We will completely remove all coatings, paints, waxes, water repellents, previously applied adhesives and curing membranes by sandblasting or with a mechanical floor machine.

PATCHING & CRACK REPAIR: Broken concrete is patched and repaired by drilling in tapcons or concrete screws to the existing concrete then filling in the broken area with concrete.  This will lock this bond together.                                       

Cracks are addressed  by opening the cracks aprox. 1/4 inch wide and the length of the cracks. A 2 part epoxy mix and sand is then injected into the opening. It will cure to 6000 PSI. Its then gound down to level the surface.

Application:  Portland cement or grout is mixed with acrylic modifiers or bonding agents. No water is used in the mix. This can be now be applied to the existing concrete surface. Depending on design, color will be added to the mix before application or stained after application. Pattrens and designs are added during this process with trowls and or texture sprays.

Finishing:  Clear sealers are applied to protect the surface. Exterior surfaces are sealed with a UV protective sealer to resist fading and stains. Interior sealers are UV protective and have a glossy finish.    

We can transform INTERIOR FLOORS into beautiful, maintenance free stained works of art or brick and tile designs.  So many designs and colors to choose from.  EPOXY FLOORS are very durable and have that showroom appeal.   Garage floors, Basements, Bathrooms and Foyers can look awsome with the many different colors and metalics of Epoxys.
